Meeting Room No. 2
Old Gordon Public School (Gordon Library Precinct)
799 Pacific Highway (cnr. Park Street)
GORDON NSW 2073.
*Note that a small entry fee is payable at the door to cover the cost of room hire and morning tea.
Entry to the Gordon Precinct:
The Library is located over the Gordon Police Station; the meeting room in the adjacent historic Old Gordon Public School. Enter the Library foyer and turn left and follow the corridor to the end and down a small flight of stairs – Meeting Room No. 2 is a short distance to the right.
Enthusiastic Members and Friends travel from far and wide to attend our meetings, making it an enjoyable day out.
Travelling to our location
By rail: It is a short walk from Gordon Station. Exit the station towards the Pacific Highway, turn right and walk up Wade Lane toward the Police Station ahead. Cross at the lights at the Park Street intersection. If travelling from suburbs south of Gordon (i.e. from the city), make sure you catch the service that indicates via Gordon, not via Macquarie Park which usually is every second service).
By bus: Private bus services terminate at Gordon Station.
By car: Free 3-hour parking under the Gordon Centre, cnr Pacific Highway. Use either of the 2 entry points via Dumaresq Street. Use the pedestrian lights to cross to the venue located diagonally opposite to the Gordon Centre - a short walk.
Disabled Access:
Entry ramps give easy access directly to the Library Front Foyer; however there are 4-5 stairs leading down to the Meeting Room No. 2. For fewer stairs enter directly from the side doors to the Meeting Room.
